I’ve devoted many hours and resources to this project and will continue to create more in this series to assist you through the world’s coming changes.

What Is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?

  • The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as "tapping," is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine with modern psychology. EFT is also considered energy psychology. It involves tapping on specific acupoints on the body while focusing on a particular issue or problem. EFT is often used to address emotional distress, reduce anxiety, and alleviate a variety of psychological and physical symptoms.

  • EFT became well-established as an effective evidence-based intervention in the treatment of anxiety, depression, phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after a study, titled “Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Improves Multiple Psychological Markers of Health,” by Bach D, Groesbeck G, Stapleton P, Sims R, Blickheuser K, and Church D., was published in 2019 in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine.

  • According to research, EFT can lower stress, anxiety, depression, and food cravings; eliminate phobias; heal Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; support you through grief and loss; address the emotional roots of addiction; enhance academic and sports performance; shift limiting beliefs around money, self-worth, and confidence; shift your perspective to one that is more expansive and empowering; and more.

  • You can experience benefits in under a minute. For more systemic issues, EFT requires an ongoing practice of at least 10 minutes daily. Length of time, as in number of days, depends on your intention, level of commitment, and how deep you allow yourself to go in your journey of healing and self-discovery.

Learn how and where to tap on your body to reduce stress and release emotional distress. Receive guidance on how to write a script to follow as you tap. Rewire your brain for more accurate and uplifting thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Review anecdotal and statistical evidence of the effectiveness of EFT and all that it can address.
